Wolf Ridge-a work in progress

New beginningWhen most people think about legends and ghost stories, they think about things that could never happen. Here in Wolf Ridge, those sorts of things are totally real.  People here don’t have to go to see horror movies, because all they have to do is wander into the woods.  When someone goes missing here, everyone just goes on there way and hopes it doesn’t happen to them someday.  As for myself, I never put much thought into it.  My friends actually relish the idea of having something horrible living so close to their backyards.  One time, my friend Joey bought a camcorder, and we all New beginning

Meeting the familyMist filled the forest, making it so that I could only see a thick, grey sheet with an occasional tree here and there.  I couldn’t remember what I was doing there, or how I got there.  I only knew that I was looking for a way out.  I was very cold.  I went to zip up my hoodie, but found that I was naked.  As I looked for where I had left my clothes, I saw two dark figures moving towards me through the mist.  As they got closer, I could see that one was a woman, and the other was a wolf.  The woman, who was also naked, stared at me intently without saying a word. & Meeting the family

Meeting the family -continued-I woke up back on the bed the werewolves had made for me.  I still felt sick, but not as much as I had before.  There was something heavy on my chest, and I could feel something breathing near my face.  I opened my eyes to see another, smaller, lighter colored werewolf sitting on my chest leaning over my face with my socks balled up in it’s mouth.  It dropped the socks, which were covered in spit, onto my face when it saw I was awake and giggled.     “I got your socks for you! hehe...” it said.     “Ummmm, thanks?” I said uncertainly.  Meeting the family -continued-

Nothing happened to us that weekend, but now I realize that all that has happened now must have started from that camping trip. The Ironic part is, I was the only one who didn’t want to go, and I was the one who ended up playing the biggest role in the events that followed.

Not much to say really. I have privacy issues, so I am reluctant to say too much, but here goes....

My name is ShadowWolf, but not really. My real name is Alex. I am from Minneapolis, but I now live in Bemidji. I play the Bass Guitar in a band called Infinity, which is on indefinite hiatus until we find a new drummer. My most recent obsession, apart from music, is werewolves. Their role in mythology and history is very interesting, but I hate how they are always portrayed to be evil. Something so amazing should be good, which I try to voice as much as possible...

Here, at DeviantART, I am a writer (of songs and stories) and a hopelessly amateur artist. To make up for my drawing, I also like doing photo-manipulations and stuff.

The above ID is that of my fictional character, who's name I have taken, Shadow. He is me, and I am him. At least for the most part, I am not interesting enough to write a book about, despite what my friends say, so Shadow has added drama in his life that I don't really have to deal with.

Likes: Music, pizza, coffee, thunderstorms, movies, and wolves (both were and otherwise).
